Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026. This policy applies to the Snacko mobile app (in.snacko.app), Snacko Shop vendor app (in.snacko.shop), Snacko Delivery app (in.snacko.delivery), vendor dashboard (snacko.shop), and all storefront websites (*.snacko.shop).

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: Phone number (required for authentication), name, email address, and profile photo.

Location Data: Your device location, to show nearby vendors, calculate delivery distances and provide real-time delivery tracking. This is collected by the Snacko customer app and the Snacko Delivery app only. The Snacko Shop vendor app does not request or collect location at all — a shop's address is entered once during onboarding, not read from a device.

Order Data: Order history, items purchased, payment details, delivery addresses, and transaction records.

Device Information: Device model, OS version, app version, and push notification tokens (FCM) for order updates.

Vendor Data: Business name, address, GST information, bank details (for settlement payouts), product catalog, and operational hours.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Process orders and facilitate payments via Razorpay
• Show nearby vendors based on your location
• Send order status notifications (accepted, preparing, out for delivery, delivered)
• Calculate and apply platform fees, coin rewards, and promotional discounts
• Process vendor settlements and delivery partner payouts
• Improve our platform and resolve disputes

3. Data Sharing

We share your data only as necessary:

• Vendors: Your name, phone, and delivery address when you place an order
• Delivery Partners: Your name, phone, and delivery address for order fulfillment
• Razorpay: Payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant)
• Firebase/Google Cloud: Infrastructure and authentication services

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Google Cloud Platform (Firebase) with encryption at rest and in transit. Bank details for vendors and delivery partners are stored with field-level encryption. We implement role-based access controls to ensure only authorized personnel can access sensitive data.

5. Your Rights & Account Deletion

• Access: View all data we hold about you through your profile
• Correction: Update your profile information at any time
• Data Portability: Request a copy of your data by emailing support@snacko.shop

Deleting your account:

• Customers (Snacko app): Profile → Delete Account, inside the app.
• Vendors (Snacko Shop app) and delivery partners (Snacko Delivery app): email support@snacko.shop from your registered phone number's associated email, or contact us from the Support page. These accounts are tied to a business relationship and settlement records, so they are closed by our team rather than removed from the app.

When an account is deleted we remove your profile, saved addresses, device notification tokens and contact details. Completed order and settlement records are retained for the period required by Indian tax and accounting law, after which they are deleted; they are no longer linked to your profile.

Requests are actioned within 30 days. Any pending orders are completed first.

6. Cookies & Tracking

Our web platforms use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Our mobile apps contain no analytics or advertising SDKs: we do not use the Android advertising ID, and no third-party advertising or tracking software is bundled in them.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
